Description
1. The United Nations Peacekeeping Force in Cyprus (UNFICYP) intends to conduct a competitive solicitation exercise for the provision of technically skilled services, as mentioned below: 1) Plumbing 2) Carpentry 3) Painting 4) Masonry 5) Welding 2. The successful Contractor shall be able to provide Skilled Personnel, as mentioned above, to perform renovation services to island-wide UN buildings, on an 'as and when' required basis. Up to a maximum of eight (8) Skilled Personnel (with a minimum of one from each service) may be requested by UNFICYP, on a weekly basis, (Monday through Friday). UNFICYP estimates up to 580 days of Skilled Personnel per year, shall be required, however is under no obligation to meet any minimum quantity. 3. The resulting contract shall be for an initial period of three (3) years with an option to extend for two (2) additional terms of one (1) year each. The Contract is anticipated to commence during the third to fourth quarter of 2024. 4. Interested vendors shall have three (3) years' prior experience with similar contracts/projects. 5. In this regard, UNFICYP would like to identify vendors that would be interested to participate in the competitive solicitation exercise. Qualified vendors are requested to express their interest by submitting the Vendor Response Formof this EOI electronically (through the link provided below) before the closing date above. Women-owned and disabililty-inclusive suppliers are strongly encouraged to express interest. 6. The Vendor Response Form is available in our website, www.unficyp.org. 7. UNFICYP reserves the right in selecting the invitees for the competitive bidding and mere expression of interest does not automatically warrant participation in the competitive bidding exercise. UNFICYP reserves the right to change or cancel any of these requirements at any time during the EOI and/or the solicitation process. 8. The UNGM registration is mandatory for responding to this EOI. Interested vendors are strongly recommended to submit the required documentation at the United Nations Global Marketplace at www.ungm.org for Basic Level.
