Description
The United Nations Office at Nairobi (UNON) in collaboration with other UN Agencies, Funds and Programmes wishes to inform of a Virtual Business Seminar to be held via Microsoft Teams on 6 October 2022 for vendors interested in conducting business with the United Nations in Kenya and other countries. The purpose of the Seminar is to provide information on goods and services categories identified below, UNGM registration and how to identify business opportunities with the UN. The Seminar is open to vendors in the following five categories: a) Farm inputs (seeds, fertilizer, pesticides etc.) and Animal feeds b) Medical consumables (medicines, tests etc.) c) Water and sanitation and related services (Emergency supplies including Family relief kits, Hygiene kits, jerry cans , soaps and tanks etc.) d) General construction and furniture supply, installation, and maintenance e) Consultancy Services (Professional and Individual Consultancies) Vendors are requested to send their expression of interest to participate in the Seminar by 06 September 2022 via e-mail to maureen.ireri@un.org with copy to: anne.ingabo@un.org. Please indicate the categories you are interested to participate in from the above listed areas. This invitation is extended to vendors who have been in business for 3 years or more, within any of the above mentioned categories. Vendors must submit copy of their Certificate of Incorporation. UNON will consider inviting only those Vendors who submitted response before 06 September 2022 and meet the above requirement. Furthermore, UNON will follow the first-come, first-served approach to identify participants of the Seminar. By 21 September 2022, UNON will notify vendors selected for participation to the Seminar. The maximum allowed participants per Vendor is 2.
