    The United Nations International Procurement Seminar — Jordan 2026 will be hosted in Amman, Jordan, on 5–6 October 2026. The seminar is a business-focused supplier engagement event designed to introduce Jordanian companies to the United Nations procurement system, UNGM registration requirements, supplier procedures, procurement categories, and practical opportunities for doing business with participating UN agencies. The event will target Jordanian suppliers, exporters, manufacturers, and service providers with the capacity or potential to supply goods and services to the United Nations system. Priority sectors include pharmaceuticals and medical supplies, food and agribusiness, logistics and transportation, apparel and personal care products, construction and engineering services, sustainable packaging and supplies, IT, office services, and other industrial or service sectors relevant to UN procurement demand. The seminar is intended for companies with no or limited prior experience in UN procurement, as well as companies already registered on UNGM that seek to improve their readiness, visibility, and understanding of UN procurement opportunities. The main objectives of the seminar are to raise awareness of UN procurement procedures, improve supplier readiness, support companies in completing or strengthening their UNGM profiles, and help Jordanian companies understand documentation, compliance, tendering processes, and supplier expectations. The event will also allow participating UN agencies to present their procurement priorities, requirements, and areas of demand directly to relevant suppliers. The program is expected to include opening and introductory sessions, presentations by participating UN agencies, technical sessions on UN procurement and supplier readiness, sector-focused discussions, networking opportunities, and structured one-to-one meetings between UN procurement representatives and registered Jordanian companies. Pre-event preparation activities may include supplier outreach, UNGM guidance, company profiling, and matchmaking preparation to improve the relevance and quality of the meetings. The seminar aims to create practical and measurable outcomes, including improved supplier understanding of UN procurement, stronger UNGM readiness among participating companies, better matching between suppliers and UN agencies, direct procurement conversations, documented business leads, and structured post-event follow-up to track future RFQ, ITB, RFP, EOI, and supplier engagement opportunities.
