Description

The purpose of this Request for Proposals is to identify a suitable contractor to providers are sought to undertake one or more systematic reviews, for 8 questions that have already been determined by the Guideline Development Group. The systematic review team(s) will be required to synthesise extant evidence and the reviews will be used to develop guidelines using the GRADE (Grading of Recommendations, Assessment, Development and Evaluations) methodology.

The provider will carry out these systematic reviews in a timely manner, to inform the development of WHO guidelines for the diagnosis and management of asthma in primary care. Full details of the guideline development process are outlined in the WHO Handbook for Guideline Development, 2nd Edition.

 

The systematic review team(s) will be required to synthesise extant evidence and the reviews will be used to develop guidelines using the GRADE (Grading of Recommendations, Assessment, Development and Evaluations) methodology.
