Tender description: For Supply, Delivery, and installation of Multitask photocopiers and Interactive Projectors for schools in different governorates in Jordan
Based on the results of this exercise, UNOPS intends to issue several Purchase Orders with the successful Bidders For Supply, Delivery, and installation of Multitask photocopiers and Interactive Projectors for schools in different governorates in Jordan on partial delivery basis throughout 2019/2020 as per Section II: Schedule of Requirements.

New clarification added: Dears,Vendors are welcomed to participate in bid with aid of their local partner as long as they stratify the bid qualification criteria: “Bidders must have a local/Jordanian distributor/agent for all quoted items with a registered and authorized license to trade in ICT equipment in Jordan.”"Price/rebate for collection and proper recycling of the printers (DT)" : refers to the cost of recycling the photocopier at the end of ownership. This cost estimate refers to the hypothetical case that the supplier sets up a contract with the client in which they agree that the supplier comes to pick up the photocopier and takes care of proper and environmentally friendly recycling.Regards,

New amendment added #2: This amendment was raised to cover the following points:- To add the pre-bid meeting minutes, please refer to the minutes under "Document" tab in PDF format.- To amend Photocopier speed to 35 PPM, mention multipurpose feeder separately and include ENERGY STAR® 2.0. Please refer to Section II: Schedule of Requirements, B. Technical specifications for Goods and Comparative Data Table, LOT 1 and 2.- To amend USB cable length to 5 Meters, Mention Dual pen and finger, Mention Splitter cables lengths, mention cage inner- dimensions. New clarification added: Please find below our clarification request:In Section 3 Form C (Lot 1): What is meant by Total Price of related services? UNOPS REPLY: This is releated to other services such as training, installation.. etc. However, in this particular tender the "Related Services" not applicable. In Section 3 Form C (Lot 2): Number of mixed Coloured pages printable with pre-installed Toner or new/replacement Toner- Should we indicate the number of pages of the black Toner or the coloured Toners? Since they have different Yields. UNOPS REPLY: Please indicate both, black and coloredIn Section 3 Form C (Lot 2): should we indicate the Price of the full Toners set (4 cartridges K, Y, M, C) or the price of one single toner cartridge? UNOPS REPLY: Please indicate the price of each toner separately.

New clarification added: Please clarify the below:1. What is the functionality of the HDMI splitter? Will you be using another screen or another display other than the projector? UNOPS REPLY: HDMI splitter should get the video from the computer and send it to both the computer screen and projector. Hence, an additional HDMI 1m cable is required to connect between the computer and the splitter.2. The contract will be signed for the total of 174 projetors to be delivered on two phases, correct? UNOPS REPLY: Two separated POs will be signed for each phase.

New clarification added: You are asking for Energy Star 4.0 Tier 1After checking with the Quality Department for different manufacturers, please note that the Energy Star Version 4.0 with Tier I July 20.2007 is referred to the COMPUTERS and not to Imaging Equipment like the required Photocopiers.Moreover in EUROPE is no longer possible to declare an Energy star compliant product due to non-renewal of the agreement between Europe and Energy Star.We can only confirm that the available machines of the technical requirements of the related Energy Star 2.0 We kidly ask you to confirm that machines of Energy Star 2.0 will be accepted.UNOPS REPLY: Energy Star 2.0 is accepted.

New clarification added: Is the requested speed based on professional quality or general office quality printing? UNOPS REPLY: Speed is for both, professional and general based on the location and use. Speed is reduced to 35ppm instead of 36ppm. The amendment version shall be follow soon.

New clarification added: Could you please clarify the below Items, for Lot 3 The supply and installation of Interactive Ultra-short Throw projectorfor the requirement (Windows, IOS and Android plug & play interactive connection.) is this requirement to confirm the projector Compatability for a Windows, IOS and Android plug & play interactive connection or its required to provide a hardware device to provide an operating system? UNOPS REPLY: Compatibility is required with the mentioned operating systems, no additional equipment is required.What are the sources provided to connect to the projector? a Laptop and/or a desktop? UNOPS REPLY: The two options should be available.For the requirement (HDMI Splitter with one input to two outputs) What are the HDMI connections and cables required? UNOPS REPLY: The 5m cable from the splitter to the projector, and another 1m cable from the PC to the splitter.For the requirement (Electrical Pen x) is it required only an electrical pen or dual Pen and Finger? UNOPS REPLY: Dual pen and finger

New clarification added: Dear UNOPS TeamPlease confirm if we can participate in this tender or not? As we understood in the last meeting, the participant shall be an authorized dealer, and we are not athorized dealer for this type of machines, but we will represent one of the biggest dealers in Jordan. UNOPS REPLY: Bidders must have a local/Jordanian distributor/agent for all quoted items with a registered and authorized license to trade in ICT equipment in Jordan.

New clarification added: 1. Since the requirement is for a desktop screen (with HDMI input) and the HDMI will also be playing to the projector, we require to amend to 1 x HDMI cable (10m) just like the VGA cable required at 10m and the 5m HDMI cable for the screen. UNOPS REPLY: The requirement to one 5m HDMI cable and NO VGA cable is required. The amendment version shall be published soon.2. We will only be able to display on the projector if the VGA cable is used. As the VGA cable will be the output of the laptop directly only on one output. UNOPS REPLY: No VGA cable is required anymore.3. The VGA cable will be covered with the plastic tubing? UNOPS REPLY: No VGA cable is required anymore.4. Please send the cage specifications: UNOPS REPLY: Cage is metal, with a movable door and lock. Size should 5-10cm extra around the projector. The amendment version shall be published soon.
