Description

Scope of Work

  • The project is located in the respective camps in Duhok governorate (Domiz 1, Domiz 2 & Gawilan), and consists of construction an extension office for the community centers. The work includes provision and installation of prefab caravans. The methodology of construction is the provision and installation of different sizes of prefab units. The constructor will have to assemble the caravans on-site.
  • The components of the new extensions are:
  1. Site preparation works.
  2. Casting works.
  3. Provision and installation of different sizes of caravans (5 units of (2x2) meters, 2 units of (3x4) meters, 2 units of (10x6) meters, 1 unit of (4x6) meters, 1 unit of (3x6) meters, and 1 unit of (10x5) meters).
  4. Electrical works.
  5. Plumping works.
  • The work includes the provision of materials and labor to complete the specified projects under the direct supervision UNHCR Engineers.
  • The quality of the work and the materials supplied by the contractor will be inspected by UNHCR engineers. The work must be within engineering specifications/standards and time limit.
  • The Contractor is required to complete works as per the Bill of Quantities, and Technical Specifications within 60 calendar days from the site handover date.

All the interested bidders are kindly advised to be available first at 10:00 AM at Gawilan refugee camp (which is 2:30 hours away from Duhok city) and then after that visiting the other two sites at Domiz1 & Domiz2 camps.

It is the responsibility of the participants to record their names on the attendance sheet during the site visits.  Companies failing to register their record of site visits will have the proposal disqualified.
