Description
UNOPS is looking for a supplier to provide live simultaneous Interpretation Services for 250 participants (in English, French, Portuguese) for the for RBM Partnership to End Malaria Regional Meeting in in Abuja, Nigeria, 22-26 October 2019.
The list of the required services is detailed in the Section II_List of Requirements uploaded in the "document" section of this RFQ.

New clarification added: Question 1: In the Schedule of Requirements (1. Vendor Requirements), it is indicated Control Units with 3 nos. as the required number. Do you mean "Console units" as for Interpreter's Console?Question 2: At what stage can I submit the contract for small services? Answer 1: On Line 1.2 in Required services, it is refered to interpreter control console unit IC-2, with 2 mics and headphones, 3 quantities during 5 days.Answer 2: The contract for small services is only for your reference attached to this tender, and will be completed and signed with the winner of this bid, after the solicitation process is over and evaluation finalized.

New clarification added: Question: In item 1.6 it states - table microphones 84 units, frquency 5 and below the pricing table it is written ***A table microphones for every 3 participants,to be sufficient for 250 participant in total. How many table microphones are needed in total?Answer: There is a need for 84 table microphones, during 5 days of the event, in order to alocate 1 microphone per 3 participants, in such way to be sufficient for all 250 participants.

New clarification added: Question 1: Will the UN cover costs of transport for interpretation and recording equipment and technician? Answer 1:UNOPS covers the cost of the items listed in the Form B Price Schedule form in Returnable Bidding Forms_Amendment 1- UNOPS covers the cost of interpretation equipment- please price under Section 1 in Returnable Bidding Forms_Amendment 1- UNOPS covers the cost of Technical support during the interpretation, able to assist troubleshooting - please price under Section 2.1. in Returnable Bidding Forms_Amendment 1- UNOPS covers the cost of Transport/Setup/Dismantle- please price under Section 2.2 in Returnable Bidding Forms_Amendment 1- UNOPS covers the cost of Interpretation services please price under Section 3 in Returnable Bidding Forms_Amendment 1- Price for travel, per diem, overnight stay of the interpreters shall not be included in the Interpretation price. If such is needed, this will be organised under UNOPS Rules and regulations.

New clarification added: Secton 2 of "Additional items subject to UNOPS written request":Question 1: Does the figure 1 under Estimated quantity refer to the number of times required services (interpreting and technical assistance) will be needed? Question 2: Does the figure 4 under Estimated frequency refer to the number of days of over time charge after 18:30?Answer 1:The quantity refers to the 30 minutes overtime (1 quantity=30 minutes overtime), during 5 days of the event. Answer 2: The Frequency refers to the number of days of the event (5). Please note that in the returnable bidding forms, it was indicated frequency 4 isntead of 5 by mistake. Please refer to Amendment1_Returnable bidding forms submitted shortly with the correction.In conclusion, Section 2 refers to the cost of 30 minutes over time (after 18:30) in which the required services will be needed, each day of the event, in the case that this shall happen. The quantity and frequency indicated is only an estimation at this point and, in case over time might occur we will have the unit cost indicated in the pricing form to revert to.
