1.0 The Independent High Electoral Commission (IHEC) is an institution in the Republic of Iraq which is responsible for organizing electoral processes and events. The United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI) provides advice, technical support and assistance to the IHEC pursuant to UN Security Council Resolution 2470 of 2019.
