Description

The UNICEF Office in Ghana is seeking the services of reputable companies through an expression of interest (EOI) to establish long term arrangements for the below listed category of services. The LTAs when established, will enhance cost efficiency from economies of scale and ensure timeliness in the procurement and service delivery.

  1. Ref EOI/GH/2019/001 - Event Management Services for conferences, retreats, workshops etc
  2. Ref EOI/GH/2019/002 – Offset/Digital Printing services of publications, manuals, calendars posters etc.
  3. Ref EOI/GH/2019/003 - Photocopying, Binding and Lamination services for conference materials
  4. Ref EOI/GH/2019/004 - Supply of Office Stationery
  5. Ref EOI/GH/2019/005 - Production of Promotional materials (T-Shirts, banners, badges, bags etc)

PRE-QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Interested companies who meet the below pre-qualification criteria are invited to download the terms of reference (ToR) for more details on the scope of services and requirement from the United Nationa Global Marketplace (UNGM) website. Companies that have not registered at the UNGM website (www.ungm.org) are encouraged to do the mandatory basic registration of their business names free of cost as further correspondence with regards to this EOI and resulting tenders will be done through the UNGM website.

The Following are the pre-qualification criteria:

  1. Registered business registration or permit (certificate of incorporation and certificate to commence business in Ghana)
  2. Evidence of past experiences (minimum 3yrs experience in at least one of the categories)
  3. Evidence of working experience with the United Nations Agencies or an International NGO in Ghana)
  4. Experienced staff and personnel that can provide quality services (attach CV of key personnel)
  5. Documentary evidence (copies of purchase orders, contracts, work order ) of having completed similar works and services with references from at least three corporate organizations
  6. Proof of a valid SNNIT Clearance Certificate
  7. Proof of a valid TAX Clearance certificate
  8. Duly completed UNICEF supplier profile form, showing assets, equipment and other resources for effective delivery of the above services.
  9. Copies of audited accounts/financial statement for the last 2 years
  10. Company profile highlighting capacity to provide the services required as per the TOR.

Special Notes:

  1. Completed expression interest submission letter and supporting documents should be sent electronically by email to gha-bids@unicef.org with the EOI reference clearly stated at the subject of the email. Emails submission received without an EOI reference may not be considered.
  2. All submission must be received by email and supporting documents attached in PDF file format. Emails may be sent in multiple batches not exceeding 5mb per email. Each email must have the EOI reference number to appropriate categorization.
  3. An organization may apply only categories in which they have a comparative advantage. If applying for more than one category, please ensure to send separate emails with the appropriate EOI reference number and include the full supporting documents for each application category.
  4. Deadline for submission of the EOI is Wednesday 10 July 2019 at 16.00 Hrs GMT
  5. UNICEF shall be provided access to visit the bidder’s facility if required as part of the pre-qualification process
  6. Only tenders that meet all the pre-qualification criteria will be further contacted or invited to tender for the categories mentioned above.
  7. This REOI does not constitute a solicitation. UNICEF does not require bids or proposals at this stage; this request is merely seeking an expression of interest for interested participants to be pre-qualified.
  8. A response to this Request for Expression of Interest does not automatically ensure that submitting companies will be selected to participate in the subsequent Request for Proposal or bid.
  9. UNICEF reserves the right to change or cancel the requirement at any time during the and/or solicitation process. UNICEF also reserves the right to require compliance with additional conditions when issuing the final tender document.
  10. Queries should be sent through gha-bids@unicef.org not later than 3rd July, 2019 at 23:59 hrs GMT. Response to queries will be posted on UNGM by 5th July 2019
