FORMULATION OF IMPLEMENTATION PLANS TO ASSIST HIRSHABELLE AND SOUTH WEST STATES ESTABLISH ACCOUNTABLE AND REPRESENTATIVE LOCAL GOVERNMENT INSTITUTIONS ALONG THE MAIN COMMERCIAL CORRIDORS.

UNDP Somalia seeks to contract a firm to conduct assessments in order to analyze the political, social and economic trends, with attention to gender matters, of the 2 major economic corridors (Main supply routes from Mogadishu to Beletwene and Baidoa) and formulate harmonized implementation plans / to assist both states establish accountable and representative local government institutions along the main commercial routes. The districts to be reviewed are 3 in South West State (Burhakaba, Wanlaweyn and Afgoye districts) and 4 in Hirshabelle State (Bal’ad, Jowhar, Buloborte and Jalalqsi districts).
