Description

Unitaid is seeking expert support in conducting a technical evaluation/assessment of proposals received under the current Call for Proposals: Better tools for the diagnosis and treatment of Plasmodium vivax malaria (https://unitaid.org/call-for-proposal/better-tools-for-the-diagnosis-and-treatment-of-plasmodium-vivax-malaria/#en).

The consultant shall be operating in the field of pharmaceutical sciences and/or public health with proven expertise in malaria.

Essential experience and educational requirements:

>Advanced level university degree in pharmaceutical sciences and/or public health or the equivalent, with at least 5 years’ work experience in malaria.           

>Experience in at least one of the following:

  •       >implementation of malaria case management interventions, particularly for P. vivax.
  •       >product development and commercialization in global health, and particularly in malaria products. Expertise in and/or knowledge of the manufacturing process and regulatory requirements of pediatric products.
