New clarification added: Good morning,Defense Sales International is partnered with Finnbin, US manufacturers of premium baby boxes, and supplier to the US Government. I have two questions in order to compete on this contract.- Is it possible to get an extension on the submission time? We are still gathering best prices from suppliers, and we need some extra time to make sure we have the best and most accurate quote for you. - Can we slightly alter the design of the box structure? We have a design that is stronger, and uses less material when assembled.- Is the delivery timeline negotiable? I don't think that we can meet 25,000 boxes to be delivered on your current timeline. Please advise on these questions, and thank you in advance for your speedy response. - Mike WentzDear BidderPlease find answers below:Tender deadline can not be extended.Design of the Baby Box is approved by the Government of Ukraine and changes are not allowed. The delivery deadlines can be negotiated with the successful Bidder.

Please notice that the color for 'Ukraine Now' logo will keep as standard. Please advise if above option is workable.Thanks.Dear BidderIt is acceptable.

New clarification added: We are calculating the freight. However, our forwarder is not clear about the below address:Dnipro, Uzhhorod (Zakarpatska oblast), Kropyvnytskiy (Kirovohrad oblast), Lviv, Chernihiv, Chernivtsi, Kyiv city. Please provide the detailed address, thank you !Dear BidderAt the moment we do not have detailed addresses of delivery in these cities. However we do not think that this can make a problem to freight forwarder to calculate delivery price. Usually when DAP delivery is requested it is enough to indicate country and city for the forwarder to make quotation (e.g. Delivery – DAP Kyiv, Ukraine).

New clarification added: Dear madam/sir,1. The tender specifies baby clothing in sizes 50-56cm and 56-58cm. 58cm is not a usual baby clothing size, so is this possibly a typo, or the actually requested size - alternatively, is it possible to have the intended sizes in months like with the baby caps (e.g. 0-3 months, 3-6 months)?2. The tender requires 96pcs nappies - I noticed that you already responded that this is the minimum requirement, but based on our preliminary packing it looks like not even these will necessarily fit into the specified size baby box by themselves, let alone any other items in addition to them. What happens if the tendered amount cannot fit into the box? Or can you reduce the amount of nappies already to prevent this? Thank you for your responses.Dear BidderPlease find answers below:It is possible. The number of diapers cannot be reduced.

New clarification added: Hello Miss, Sir,I would like clarification on the call for tenders:1. The requested Baby Box does not meet the international standards "Cradle and bassinet" EN1130. The Baby Box requested in this call exposes babies to the risk of falling due to the presence of wrists and the risk of sudden infant death. There was already a scandal in Scotland last year for the same reasons. Is it possible to modify the invitation to tender by adding the necessary certification to provide cradles and protect the life of infants?2. ISO 14000: 2004 certification is requested and is no longer available. It no longer exists. Is it possible to remove this constraint which does not allow de facto to answer the call for tenders?3. Do you know when the response to the tender is given? Indeed, the call ends on August 9 and must be delivered from August 30 which is extremely difficult.Thank you in advance for your answers.Dear Bidder1. The requirements for cradle box will not be changed. Please refer to Section II Schedule of requirements.2. The requirement for ISO 14000: 2004 certification will be removed.3. The bidders are offered an opportunity to split first supply into three deliveries with 10 days’ interval. Please refer to Section II Schedule of Requirements.

New clarification added: 1.Is there a dock or forklift at the location?2.Bulk orders of Baby Boxes are typically shipped flat (to be assembled at your destination by volunteers or workers who can view our brief training video) because the flat boxes take up less storage space and cost less to ship; however, please let us know if you would prefer them to be pre-assembledCLARIFY: Please note that some shipments are made using gaylord shipping boxes which are 40 x 42 x 70 inches. Please prepare your location to handle this size shipment or be ready to break down your box outside to move the components inside (IS THIS THE CASE)Dear BidderPlease find answers below:1. Locations / regional centers are likely to be able to provide unloading equipment and maneuver. We appreciate you raised this question, so please kindly clarify how it can impact the offer. 2. We appreciate you concern, and would like to remind on the requirement of the Section II for supply of the assembled baby boxes to the Locations/Regional Centers, identified in the Delivery Schedule. Please, also refer to the item 10 of the table in the Technical specifications for Goods and Comparative Data Table of the Section II, where we expect to add additional information as leaflets, etc. In this regard, should the boxes be shipped flat and assembled prior they reached their final destination would be at full consideration of a bidder for the logistic purpose.

New clarification added: Bonjour Madame, Monsieur, Je souhaiterais obtenir des clarifications concernant l'appel d'offres : 1. Dear BidderLanguage of the tender is English.
