Radon track detectors including analysis of detectors for multiple countries

CLARIFICATIONS RFQ 151299-LB

Question 1:

Can you confirm that activities as delivery, pick-up and general trasport of the radon detectors from/to Serbian Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety Agency are not included in the scope of the tender and consequently it must not be included in the quotation ?

Answer : Normal procedure is that the delivery to the end-user (Serbian Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety Agency ) is included in the prise of detectors. The shipment back to laboratory is to be paid by Serbia or by TC project separately.

Question 2 :

We have a question: the quotation is for 9000 radon detectors. However, is the delivery of 9000 units to Serbia or to multiple countries? In case the delivery is to multiple countries, do you know how many detectors must be delivered to each country?

Answer :

The total number of detectors is 9600 as per the request for quotation. They are distributed as follows :
The detectors will be delivered to different countries as follows :

5000 – Serbia

1000 – Bosnia and Herzegovina

600 – Armenia

500 – Tajikistan

             2500 – Moldova

Question 3 :

1.- We will produce 9600 if we are selected in the tender. Should we deliver the detectors from our office to the collecting point in Serbia? Or should we deliver the detectors in batches as you describe to different countries? If it is going to be like this, which are the collecting points at these countries? We need this to calculate the cost of delivery

2.- Is the delivery going to be organised by IAEA and paid by IAEA or we can use our usual courier and pay for the delivery?

Answer :

As stated in the Request for Quotation “For all FCA orders the IAEA has a general agreement with Bolloré Logistics to provide freight forwarding services. The IAEA authorizes Bolloré Logistics to liaise directly with the suppliers to coordinate all activities related to collecting and delivering the goods to the final destination” hence there is no need to include freight charge.
