Description
The United Nations Interim Administration Mission in Kosovo (UNMIK) intends to launch a tender and to establish the Contract with a qualified Contractor who will provide the routine maintenance and repairs to 16 UNMIK vehicles and equipment in the most efficient, economic and environmental manner. UNMIK will continue to carry out performance monitoring and quality assurance. UNMIK is currently responsible for providing support services to its heavy vehicle fleet, Material Handling Equipment and Trailers which presently consist of Hyundai, Mercedes, Scania, Renault, Man, Daewoo, PGS, Manitou, Nissan, Ford and Volvo. Driver’s Permit will be issued to successful Contractor by UNMIK to one of the Contractor’s employees, who is a qualified mechanic, in possession of a valid national driving license and certified in B, C, D, E driving categories, to test drive UNMIK heavy vehicles, after repairs, within an area of 15 KM radius of Contractor’s premises. The Contract will be initially for one (1) year period, with an option of extension for additional two (1+1) year periods. Note: This Request for Expression of Interest (EOI) does not constitute a solicitation. UNMIK reserves the right to change or cancel the requirements at any time during EOI and/or solicitation process. Submission of a reply to this EOI does not automatically guarantee that such a firm will be considered for receipt of the solicitation when issued. Only vendors, deemed qualified upon completion of an objective evaluation of their submission of EOI, will receive the final tender solicitation document.
