Organization of the 9th GEF Biennial International Waters Conference in Marrakech, Morocco, from 3 to 8 November 2018

United Nations Educational, Science and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) hereby invite qualified companies to submit sealed tenders as follows:

The Offeror will be responsible for providing various services, including arranging meeting rooms, field trips, audio-visual and catering in a conference center as well as a variety of various associated services during and for the 9th GEF Biennial International Waters Conference. The IWC9 will take place in Marrakech, Morocco from 3 to 8 November, 2018. It will involve the participation of approximately 350 people (government representatives, project managers, staff of international organizations and NGO’s and the private sector). The main Conference itself would take place over four days (from 5 to 8 November 2018), with smaller pre-conference workshops in the two days (from 3-4 November 2018) preceding the event (for about 150 people).

Specific tasks to be undertaken by the Offeror include:

• One:  Conference Venue Room Meeting Facilities
• Two: Audio-Visual Equipment
• Three: Construction of Exhibit Booths
• Four:  Catering Services
• Five: Conference Organization and Facilitation Staff
• Six: Logistics and Transportation
• Seven: Design, Layout and Printing of Conference Programme Book, Banners and Promotional Materials
• Eight: Facilitate Arrangements at the National and Local Levels and Sponsors
