Consultancy: STRENGTHENING COUNTRY HEALTH INFORMATION SYSTEMS AND CAPACITIES
The World Health Organization (WHO) invites vendors/consultants to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) for multiple consultancies to serve a combination of activities on strengthening country health information systems which address the following objectives:
- Contribute to develop, update, expand and/or review a range of tools, standards and tools by providing technical inputs and expertise.
- Support the implementation of WHO health data standards and guidance for health facility assessments and routine health information systems.
- Support activities related to the monitoring, evaluation and review of national health strategies including costing of actions needed to strengthen the national information and accountability platform.
- Provide project management support for the implementation of public health technical projects in monitoring and evaluation and health information.
- Support the development of communication products for the dissemination of global public goods (tools and standards) and documentation of lessons learned.
- Develop training materials and curriculum for the implementation of tools and standards and build analytical capacity related to facility assessments and routine reporting of health data.
- Facilitate training workshops on building analytical capacity for use of data.
- Contribute to writing and review technical documents and publications on health data.
WHO intends to invite selected vendors/consultants to participate in a formal solicitation, via a Request for Proposals (RFP), at a later stage, for the above requirements. Complete details of the requirements will be included in the solicitation documents.
