Deadline for submission of EOI extended to 31 January 2018.

Potential bidders are informed that they do not need to register in UNGM at level 1. Basic level is sufficient.

 

The World Health Organization (WHO) invites vendors to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) for multiple consultancies to serve a combination of activities on strengthening country health information systems which address the following objectives:

  1. Contribute to develop, update, expand and/or review a range of tools, standards and tools by providing technical inputs and expertise.
  2. Support the implementation of WHO health data standards and guidance for health facility assessments and routine health information systems.
  3. Support activities related to the monitoring, evaluation and review of national health strategies including costing of actions needed to strengthen the national information and accountability platform. 
  4. Provide project management support for the implementation of public health technical projects in monitoring and evaluation and health information.
  5. Support the development of communication products for the dissemination of global public goods (tools and standards) and documentation of lessons learned.
  6. Develop training materials and curriculum for the implementation of tools and standards and build analytical capacity related to facility assessments and routine reporting of health data.
  7. Facilitate training workshops on building analytical capacity for use of data. 
  8. Contribute to writing and review technical documents and publications on health data.

WHO intends to invite selected vendors to participate in a formal solicitation, via a Request for Proposals (RFP), at a later stage, for the above requirements.
