Please find attached for your review RFPS 502647 for a Review of UNICEF Standard Setting and Quality Assurance for Nutrition Products.

This RFPS is being made open to both institutions/companies and individuals.   This work will be delivered under either an individual or institutional contract depending on the legal status of the selected Proposer.  Please see the attached UNICEF General Conditions of Contracts for the Services of Consultants / Individual Contractors attached at Annex C which will apply if the work is awarded to an individual.  The standard UNICEF Contractual Provisions and the UNICEF General Terms and Conditions of Contract (Services) for the supply of services will apply if the work is awarded to an institution/company (these are publicly available on the UNICEF Supply website: http://www.unicef.org/supply/index_procurement_policies.html)

The schedule of the tender process is as follows:

  1. Closing date and time for submission of full proposal: Sunday 5th November at 23:59 Copenhagen time
  2. Any questions to be received by: Tuesday 31 October 2017 at 23:59 Copenhagen time

IMPORTANT INFORMATION! PLEASE READ:

  • PLEASE NOTE – The Technical Proposal and Price Proposal must be sent as separate files and clearly indicated in the file name; e.g. 502647 Technical Proposal.pdf; 502647 Price Proposal.pdf. No price information should be provided in the Technical Proposal.
  • PLEASE NOTE - The proposals must be submitted to the following email:  supplybid@unicef.org Proposals sent any other email address will be invalidated.  No other recipient should be “Cc” or “Bcc”.
  • PLEASE NOTE - The Request for Proposal for Services Form must be signed, and submitted together with the Proposal. The Request for Proposal for Services Form should be signed by the duly authorized representative of the submitting company/or by the individual her/himself if the Proposal is from an individual. 
  • PLEASE NOTE - The currency of the Proposal shall be in Euro or US Dollars. UNICEF will reject any proposals submitted in another currency.
  • All email communication in relation to the Proposal must clearly indicate the reference RFPS number followed by the company/individual’s name in the subject line of the email.
  • All Proposals and any other attachments are to be maximum ten (10) megabytes per email and submitted in PDF format
  • Upon receipt of the Proposal, an “acknowledgement receipt” will be generated automatically and sent to the sender’s e-mail address.
  • If submitting by post in a sealed envelope please note that the UNICEF office in Copenhagen will be closed all day on Saturday 4th November and Sunday 5th November.
