Request for Proposal: Advocacy Campaign for Women’s Empowerment and Gender Equality.

UN Women seeks comprehensive proposals from interested agencies. Proposals shall include clear articulations of campaign design and budget, as well as strategies to highlight a range of gender equality- and women’s empowerment issues that exist at the level of the household, community and labour market and hinder women’s economic empowerment.

The campaign shall be based on the findings of the mapping undertaken by UN Women on “Structural and gender-based barriers to women’s leadership and economic empowerment” in 2016. The advocacy campaign will also feed into the findings of the “Analysis of the risk factors for unsafe migration trafficking and violence against women and prevailing structural discrimination” jointly carried out by UN Women and IOM in 2017.

The selected agency will be responsible for the preparation of a detailed campaign strategy and plan as well as the subsequent roll out of all of its components.
