SCBM/Support the creation of cross-river specialized platforms and partnerships to facilitate the cooperation between communities from the left and right banks of the Nistru River (2 LOTs).
UPDATE: Pre-bidding Conference Minutes as of November 17, 2016 are now published.
The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) hereby invites you to submit a Proposal to this Request for Proposal (RFP).
The main objective of the present initiative is the establishment of two cross river specialized platforms and partnerships, aiming at harnessing the confidence building potential of implemented infrastructural projects and enhancing the cross-river collaboration between beneficiary communities.
Through this competition, the SCBM team is looking for specialized organizations (hereinafter Platform leaders) that will manage the corresponding 2 cross river platforms and partnerships.
The main responsibilities of the platform leaders include, but are not limited to:
- Establish and strengthen two platforms of collaboration based on already existing or newly created initiatives;
- Support the creation and overall coordination of the activities within the networks/platforms;
- Implementation of a set of joint capacity building activities for enhancing the communication between the beneficiary institutions (joint workshops and trainings, round tables, experience exchange, conferences, thematic and communication events, etc.);
- Support the establishment of minimum 20 cross-river partnerships through the implementation of a number of joint projects funded through small-grants programmes (SGP) and managed through thematic platforms.
- Extending and enhancing cross-river and confidence building activities between the institutions/communities from both banks of the river.
Considering the specifics of the context, the creation of the thematic platforms will be preferably based on the already existing specialized networks, established during previous SCBM phases.
