1. The United Nations intends to issue tender/s that will result in a contract or contracts for long term air charter services in support of the UN Mission in Colombia. The required services are for (i) the transportation of passengers and cargo utilising rotary-wing aircraft with light and/or medium lift capability and (ii) the transportation of passengers only utilising medium type fixed-wing aircraft. Alternatively, some air services may be required under stand-by basis or on-call modality. 2. When issued, the tender/s will provide details of the estimated quantities, frequencies and types of passengers and cargos to be carried by rotary wing, and the locations of HLS, etc. Like wise, the tender/s will also indicate the number of passengers that will be transported by fixed wing aircraft and the locations of the airfields. 3. For companies that are not yet fully registered as Flight Service Vendors with the UN Secretariat, eligibility criteria for participating in the upcoming tender exercises are as follows: i.
