Description
Dear Bidder,
The International Labour Office (ILO) is looking for an individual to undertake work as an External Collaborator.
Below is a summary of the work to be performed:
The ILO is commissioning a set of materials that make its international social security standards (ISSS) intelligible and useful to humanitarian actors. A graphic designer is now needed to turn that content into accessible visuals and navigable digital products.
ISSS are well understood by ILO staff and constituents but much less so by humanitarian cash and voucher assistance actors. Yet in fragile and conflict-affected settings and forced displacement contexts, these actors often have larger budgets, caseloads and influence over the social protection sector than governments do. When the standards are not understood, opportunities for rights-based, long-term systems strengthening are missed.
The written content is being developed by an independent consultant, in consultation with ILO normative specialists. The target audience is practitioners making programming and design decisions in the field.
Simultaneously, the ILO is a member of the Regional Collaboration Initiative on Social Protection in Crisis Contexts (RCI). This will provide one avenue to operationalise and disseminate the products once finalised. The RCI was recently established and requires a simple visual identity and basic online presence to support communication, visibility and engagement with stakeholders.
If you are interested, please express interest and follow the instructions attached to consult the detailed terms of reference and other relevant information in the ILO e-sourcing platform.
Please submit your proposal before the specified deadline.
Thank you.
