BMS/ITM/SIS REQ0187691- Senegal- Public Electric Vehicle Charging Hub- Site #2
The UNDP Senegal Country Office, in collaboration with the UNDP ITM Green Energy Team, the Société Nationale dÉlectricité du Sénégal (SENELEC) and the Société Nationale de Gestion du Patrimoine du Train Express Régional (SENTER), has initiated the development of a public electric vehicle charging hub.
The project will contribute to the UN Sustainable Development Goals and serve as a demonstrative smart energy solution with potential for local replication.
Project Objectives
The objective of this project is to deliver a reliable, cost-effective, and intelligent charging hub with integrated smart facility features. As the installation is intended to serve as a national and international showcase, UNDP ITM requires high standards of quality, performance, safety, and aesthetics. This document defines the site-specific information, minimum technical requirements, and installation standards for the project.
The bidder shall submit a comprehensive proposal for a turnkey electric vehicle charging hub based on the following scope of work:
- Supply and delivery of the charging equipment under the selected configuration:
- Four (4) DC fast chargers with a minimum 100 kW per charging station;
- Two (2) dual-port AC chargers comprising one (1) Type 2 AC charger with a minimum rated power of 22 kW and one (1) GB/T AC charger with a minimum rated power of 7 kW; both installed on the same pedestal.
- Installation, User Acceptance Test (UAT), and Commissioning of the complete solution
- Integration of the complete solution into the SENELEC network.
- Provision of bi-annual preventive maintenance visits and after-sales service by the local partner for 1 year, resulting in a total of two (2) visits.
- Training of the SENELEC operators and SENTER/SETER team on system operation and maintenance to ensure knowledge transfer continuity after the first year of after-sales services provision.
