UNDP’s Regional Innovation and Digital Team (RIDT), in partnership with the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the ASEAN Secretariat, is piloting an Incubator-Accelerator model to support Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) for MSMEs across ASEAN. The initiative aims to transform digital business identity and ease of doing business through alignment with the ASEAN Digital Economy Framework Agreement (DEFA) and the ASEAN Unique Business Identification Number (UBIN). The assignment will provide embedded technical expertise and advisory support to Indonesia, Lao PDR, Timor-Leste, and the Philippines, while developing a reusable regional framework, blueprint, and action plans to accelerate scalable, interoperable, and inclusive MSME reforms.
