Description
Dear Bidder,
The International Labour Office (ILO) is looking for an individual to undertake work as an External Collaborator.
Below is a summary of the work to be performed:
ILO Nepal seeks an experienced consultant to conduct Rapid Review and Assessment of the National Employment Policy (2015) of Nepal to generate evidence and way forward towards informing the formulation of a new National Employment Policy. She/he should undertake a rapid assessment of the existing policy focusing on its relevance, implementation progress, achievements, policy coherence, institutional coordination and responsiveness to current labour market challenges. The assessment should identify key gaps, challenges, lessons learned and emerging employment priorities, including gender equality, social inclusion and federal governance considerations. Based on the findings, the consultant should provide evidence-based recommendations and strategic policy directions to inform the formulation of a new, inclusive and implementable National Employment Policy which will be coherent, aligns perfectly with federalization of governments and creates platform for multi-stakeholder engagement to achieve the national ambitions on employment, skills and social protection.
