Description
The International Labour Office (ILO) seeks an External Collaborator on Wage Policies for East African Migrant Workers in GCC Countries, with a Focus on Domestic Workers.
The main purpose of the assignment is to strengthen the evidence base on wage outcomes and wage policy approaches for East African migrant workers in GCC countries, with a particular focus on domestic workers. The consultancy will review available evidence on wages and working conditions, bilateral and multilateral labour migration agreements, wage-setting and wage protection arrangements, relevant country experiences, and the potential contribution of ILO living wage principles. The findings will be synthesized in a policy brief to inform possible future ILO work on policy dialogue and regional cooperation.
