Description
Dear Bidder, The International Labour Office (ILO) is looking for an individual to undertake work as an External Collaborator. Below is a summary of the work to be performed: The consultant will develop practical implementation guidance and HR tools on family-friendly workplace policies and care-related measures for member enterprises of the Jordan Chamber of Industry (JCI), in response to Priority Action Area 2 of the 2026 ILO–JCI Study on Family-Friendly Policies and Care-Related Measures. The consultant will review the legal framework and existing tools, consult JCI, the Ministry of Labour, workers’ representatives and enterprises, and develop in Arabic and English a step-by-step implementation guide, a self-assessment checklist and action-planning tool, model HR policies (flexible working, maternity protection and return to work, family leave, childcare, transportation and reasonable accommodation), ready-to-use HR templates and forms, simplified tools for micro and small enterprises, a disability inclusion guidance note with a workplace accessibility checklist, a practical guide on childcare options and Article 72 implementation, and a package on the prevention of violence and harassment at work. The consultant will pilot test the tools with selected enterprises, facilitate a validation workshop, deliver a training of trainers for JCI staff and a practical training for member enterprises on using the tools, finalize the tools and prepare a final report. If you are interested, please express interest and follow the instructions attached to consult the detailed terms of reference and other relevant information in the ILO e-sourcing platform. Please submit your proposal before the specified deadline. Thank you.
