Description

The objective of this procurement is to engage a qualified supplier to supply, deliver, install, test and commission 2 (two) units of high-precision, robust and fit-for-purpose benchtop Gas Chromatography (GC) laboratory systems, together with 2 (two) sets of supporting equipment, analytical consumables and spare parts, operator training and after-sales support, for the qualitative and quantitative analysis of reclaimed refrigerant. The GC systems will serve as the core analytical instruments to:

  • accurately separate, identify and quantify the components and volatile impurities of recovered and reclaimed refrigerants;
  • analyse single-component refrigerants (such as R-22, R-134a, R-290, R-600a and R-32) and multi-component blends (such as R-410A, R-404A, R-407C and R-507A);
  • verify full compliance with the purity requirements and component specifications of AHRI Standard 700; and
  • support the safe reuse of reclaimed refrigerant and the refrigerant management objectives of HPMP Stage III.
