UNCDF’s Pacific Finance for Growth Programme (PFGP) aims to advance inclusive finance in the Pacific by leveraging digital financial infrastructure, remittances and social protection payments to expand access to finance for MSMEs and underserved populations.

As part of this initiative, UNCDF is supporting the Government of Kiribati, through MWYSSA, to digitize Government-to-Person (G2P) social protection payments through mobile wallets. UNCDF is seeking a qualified firm to develop a costed and scalable implementation plan and pilot the onboarding of eligible beneficiaries to mobile wallets. The pilot results will inform the roadmap and costing for nationwide scale-up.
