Description
Dear Bidder, The International Labour Office (ILO) is looking for an individual to undertake work as an External Collaborator. Below is a summary of the work to be performed: STREAM is a global ILO programme supported by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), extending rights-based social protection coverage to migrant workers across the South Asia–GCC corridor. Social health protection is a priority area of its reform agenda, as migrant workers face fragmented, employer-bound coverage, disparities with national workers, and limited portability of health entitlements. ILO is seeking an individual to act as Technical Advisor on STREAM’s social health protection reform agenda. The collaborator will review and consolidate an ILO report on health financing mechanisms and reforms in GCC countries, develop three evidence-based policy briefs on the corridor’s health protection architecture and on priority thematic areas, and support the organisation of a GCC–South Asia policy dialogue on health coverage, portability and financing. The work pays particular attention to work-related health issues, climate change and heat stress, high-exposure and feminized sectors, and gender-responsive approaches. The collaborator will also provide ongoing technical advice to STREAM. If you are interested, please express interest and follow the instructions attached to consult the detailed terms of reference and other relevant information in the ILO e-sourcing platform. Please submit your proposal before the specified deadline. Thank you.
