Description
Dear Bidder,
The International Labour Office (ILO) is looking for an individual to undertake work as an External Collaborator. Below is a summary of the work to be performed:
The International Labour Organization (ILO) is seeking an experienced professional editor to provide substantive editing and copyediting services for the Older Workers Thematic Brief Series, developed under the Intergenerational Employment (INTERGEN) Project. The series comprises six interconnected policy briefs covering social protection, social dialogue, working conditions, disability and discrimination, skills development, employment services, and occupational safety and health. Each brief is limited to 10,000 words including references. The assignment aims to enhance the clarity, readability and editorial quality of each brief while ensuring consistency and coherence across the series. The editor will identify and flag potential contradictions, overlaps and inconsistencies in terminology, arguments, data and policy recommendations, and ensure compliance with ILO editorial standards. The six briefs will be edited on a rolling basis as drafts become available, in close coordination with the ILO project team. Applicants must provide three examples of ILO publications they have personally edited, specifying their editorial role in each.
If you are interested, please express interest and follow the instructions attached to consult the detailed terms of reference and other relevant information in the ILO e-sourcing platform.
Please submit your proposal before the specified deadline.
Thank you.
