Description of the assignment: UNDP is looking for a national legal entity for the assignment: RFQ/2026/011 - Support the Establishment of a Fully Equipped Toxicology Laboratory for Meat Testing in Khovd Aimag.

The “Improving Adaptive Capacity and Risk Management of Rural Communities in Mongolia (ADAPT)" project funded by the Green Climate Fund was launched in March 2021. The project is being implemented by the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry, and the United Nations Development Programme for a 7-year period in Khovd, Zavkhan, Dornod, and Sukhbaatar aimags. 

The objective of the assignment is to establish a fully operational toxicology laboratory for meat testing in Khovd Aimag through the supply, installation, calibration, commissioning, training, and technical support of laboratory equipment and consumables, thereby strengthening regional capacity for food safety testing and quality assurance of meat and meat products.

Duration: 6 months
