Description

1. Background

UNFPA works to advance the health, rights, and well-being of adolescents and young people, including access to accurate, age-appropriate information on sexual and reproductive health (SRH), mental health, HIV prevention, life skills, and meaningful youth participation. Social, economic, geographic, gender-related, and disability-related barriers can limit access to trusted information and opportunities for participation, particularly for out-of-school adolescents, young people not in education, employment or training (NEET), transgender adolescents and young people, and adolescents with disabilities.

UNFPA Pakistan intends to procure services from a qualified, legally registered for-profit firm with demonstrable youth leadership and relevant technical experience to design and deliver youth-led advocacy and Life Skills-Based Education (LSBE) activities. The services will combine youth champion engagement, community-level advocacy, accessible learning sessions, and tailored digital and information, education and communication (IEC) materials. Not-for-profit organizations are not eligible under this solicitation; this eligibility condition should be confirmed and applied consistently in accordance with the approved procurement strategy.

2. Objective of the Services

The objective is to procure an integrated package of services that strengthens young people’s capacity to act as informed advocates and peer champions on SRH, mental health, HIV prevention, life skills, and youth leadership, while expanding access to inclusive, age-appropriate LSBE for marginalized adolescents and young people.
