Dear Bidder, The International Labour Office (ILO) is looking for an individual to undertake work as an External Collaborator. Below is a summary of the work to be performed: The consultant will design and deliver a structured capacity-building programme for the newly established Domestic Workers Committee under the General Union of Public Services Workers – General Federation of Jordanian Trade Unions (GFJTU), enabling its Chair, Secretary and nationality-based Focal Points to organize, represent, support and advocate for domestic workers in Jordan. The consultant will conduct a capacity needs assessment with Committee members, Focal Points, union staff and other stakeholders; map existing referral and support services; and develop a modular training package and operational tools in English and Arabic, in plain language and suitable for translation into domestic workers’ languages. The package will cover domestic workers’ rights, freedom of association and trade union organizing, Committee governance, complaints and referral, confidentiality and survivor-centred approaches, monitoring and documentation, gender equality, advocacy, and health and wellbeing. The consultant will deliver participatory training, including peer educator/organizer training, scheduled around domestic workers’ days off; provide a minimum of three follow-up coaching sessions; support the Committee in drafting its annual workplan; and prepare a final report.
