Request for Expressions of Interest (REOI) 2026-47 for the provision of "Establishment and Implementation of Eight Dairy Farmer Field Schools (FFS) and Promotion of Climate-Smart Agriculture Practices among Smallholder Farmers in the Republic of Moldova"

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) invites qualified organizations to express their interest in supporting the establishment and implementation of eight Dairy Farmer Field Schools (FFS) across ten districts of the Republic of Moldova. The initiative aims to strengthen smallholder farmers’ knowledge and skills in sustainable dairy production and climate-smart agriculture through practical, participatory learning. The selected Service Provider will facilitate farmer training, support technical specialists and FFS facilitators, establish demonstration sites, and promote knowledge exchange, climate resilience, improved animal health and welfare, and more efficient farm management. Activities will also encourage the participation of women and youth, strengthen farmer cooperation, and explore opportunities for market linkages. The assignment will be implemented over an indicative period of 18 months from the date of contract signature. Interested organizations with relevant experience in agricultural extension, dairy and livestock production, Farmer Field Schools, and rural capacity development are invited to submit their Expressions of Interest by 30 October 2026, at 13:00 CET (Budapest time)
