Call for External Collaborator –Translation of the ILO Action Plan for Gender Equality 2026- 29, GEDI/PROTECTION from English to Spanish

Dear Bidder, The International Labour Office (ILO) is looking for an individual to undertake work as an External Collaborator. Below is a summary of the work to be performed: GEDI/PROTECTION seeks an experienced English-to-Spanish translator to produce a complete, highquality Spanish translation of the ILO Action Plan for Gender Equality 2026–2029 (approximately 11,004 words). The assignment covers the full document, including tables, lists, annexes, references, notes, footnotes and citations, and requires strict consistency with ILO terminology and high standards of llinguistic accuracy and style. This is an urgent, time-bound assignment estimated at 6,69 working days, with final delivery required by 4 November 2026. Candidates must be available to start immediately upon contract award. Previous ILO/UN translation experience is an asset; given the compressed timeframe, translators already included in an ILO translator/external collaborator roster and available for rapid mobilization will have an advantage, subject to meeting the required qualifications.
