EOI 2026-44 - Establishment and Implementation of Vegetable Farmer Field Schools in the Republic of Moldova

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) invites interested organizations to express their interest in providing technical, operational and administrative support for the establishment and implementation of five Vegetable Farmer Field Schools (FFSs) in the Republic of Moldova. The assignment will cover five districts: Criuleni, Anenii-Noi, Cahul, Hincesti and Edinet, with an indicative duration of 18 months from contract signature. Key activities will include establishing and facilitating five FFS groups, including women-led and youth groups and a group focused on open-field vegetable production; mobilizing qualified Master Trainers and facilitators; conducting training needs assessments; developing tailored curricula and action plans; delivering practical, participatory training; establishing demonstration plots; promoting climate-smart and sustainable agricultural practices, agro-ecosystem analysis and integrated pest management; organizing field days and farmer exchange activities; facilitating market linkages and contract-farming opportunities; and undertaking monitoring, quality assurance, risk management and reporting. Organizations with relevant technical expertise and operational capacity are invited to express their interest through UNGM.
