Description
Dear Bidder,
The International Labour Office (ILO) is looking for an individual to undertake work as an External Collaborator.
Below is a summary of the work to be performed:
The Ship to Shore Rights South-East Asia: Safe migration for decent work in the blue economy is a four-year project (1 January 2025 – 31 December 2028) led by the ILO and jointly implemented by IOM and FAO, with funding from the European Union. It promotes safe labour migration and decent work for a sustainable fish and seafood supply chain, including primary production and post-harvest processing in South-East Asia.
The ILO seeks an independent evaluator to conduct the Midterm Evaluation covering 1 January 2025 to mid-November 2026 across all six countries of implementation and at regional level. The evaluation will assess progress towards the S2SR results framework and implementation of its Gender, Diversity and Social Inclusion Strategy and institutional capacity-building strategy; assess the project’s continued relevance; and provide strategic recommendations and possible mid-course corrections.
The evaluation will include a desk review, field visits to three countries, key informant interviews, focus group discussions and other data collection methods as required. It will address non-discrimination, gender equality, disability inclusion, human rights, international labour standards, tripartism and social dialogue, and environmental sustainability as cross-cutting themes.
(*Optional - delete if not applicable) Please note that travel is required for this assignment. The necessary travel costs will be covered by the ILO.
