Description
The ILO works in situations affected by fragility, conflict, disaster and displacement to advance decent work, social justice, resilience and sustainable peace. Across the Humanitarian–Development–Peace Nexus (HDPN), the ILO brings employment, social protection, rights at work and social dialogue into crisis prevention, response, recovery and reconstruction, in close cooperation with governments, employers’ and workers’ organizations, United Nations partners and other stakeholders. The ILO has developed a digital knowledge ecosystem for its work in crisis settings, including the Crisis situations and response topic portal, the knowledge portal on Decent Work across the Humanitarian–Development–Peace Nexus, thematic tools and resources, country insights, programme guidance and partnership information. A substantial body of content and an initial mapping already exist. The assignment will build on this work to consolidate and finalize priority web content and improve how users find and navigate ILO knowledge on crisis settings and the HDPN. The purpose of this short assignment is to provide hands-on communication and web-content support to improve and finalize priority elements of the ILO crisis/HDPN web offer. The focus will be on translating existing mapping into a consolidated Tools and Resources / Knowledge Hub; addressing priority content, link and navigation problems; developing an interactive programme-design page; updating selected digital country/context briefs; and improving donor and partnership content.
