Description
This assignment offers a unique opportunity for qualified consulting firms to support the design of a future climate-resilient agricultural investment programme in Uzbekistan through a comprehensive assessment of climate-resilient horticulture and climate-smart water management systems. The selected company will undertake nationwide analytical work, stakeholder consultations, field assessments, value chain and irrigation analyses, and the development of an integrated investment framework to inform future financing by IFAD and other development partners. Working closely with UNDP and international experts, the assignment will contribute to strengthening agricultural competitiveness, water-use efficiency, climate resilience, and sustainable rural development in one of Uzbekistans priority economic sectors. Companies with multidisciplinary expertise in agriculture, irrigation, climate change, and investment planning are strongly encouraged to participate.
