Supply, Delivery, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Soundproof Diesel Generators – One (1) each for OSESGY Office and OSESGY Guesthouse in Aden Yemen

1. The Office of the Special Envoy of the Secretary-General for Yemen (OSESGY) maintains office and guesthouse premises in Aden that require a reliable, continuous power supply given the unstable condition of the public electricity grid in Yemen. To ensure uninterrupted operations, OSESGY intends to procure, install, test and commission two (2) new soundproof diesel generator sets (Caterpillar or Equivalent) as backup power sources for its Aden Office and Aden Guesthouse. 2. The objective of this requirement is to engage a qualified and experienced supplier/contractor to supply brand-new 100kVA, factory-built soundproof diesel generators, and to deliver, install, test and commission them at the specified locations in Aden, Yemen, ensuring reliable backup power, compliance with applicable international standards, and minimal disruption to ongoing operations. 3. This EOI does not constitute a solicitation. OSESGY reserves the right to change or cancel the requirement at any time during the EOI and/or solicitation process. Thus, submitting a reply to an EOI does not automatically guarantee that such company will be considered for receipt of the solicitation when issued. Specific Requirements/Information Requirements to be submitted during solicitation: 1. Qualification Checklist 2. Compliance Declaration Form. 3. Company Registration - Vendor shall provide evidence of being registered as an industrial machinery service company (pertinent to diesel generators) for the past three (3) years with the Yemeni business registrar/chamber of commerce. Registration shall be valid. 4. Company Profile - Submission of detailed company profile that indicates legal company name, evidence of institutional capabilities and qualifications, permanent address, telephone, email, legal representative, year company was established, number of staff, organizational chart with functions and names of key staff, as well as portfolio of Diesel generator projects of similar scope (typology and complexity). 5. Company Experience - Vendor shall list and briefly describe contracts the installation, operation and maintenance of diesel generators of min. 100 kVA. Each service contract shall be ongoing or successfully completed in the past five (5) years. Provide client details, contact person’s name, email address and telephone, scope and total amount of each contract. Evidence of experience shall be a copy of contract or certificate of works done. 6. Warranty - Unless otherwise specified, the proposed generators shall have a minimum of one (1) year warranty from the date of installation, in respect of defects and two years for workmanship in accordance with the contract terms and conditions. The OSESGY reserves the right to reject expressions of interest which are partially or incorrectly completed or received after the deadline.
