 National Climate Finance Consultant – EU-SRBC FCCB Accelerator Project

Description of the Assignment:  The overall objective of the assignment is to provide national technical, analytical and coordination support to the International Lead (Climate Finance) Consultant and UNDP in the implementation of the climate finance and investment-planning components of the FCCB-SRBC Accelerator Project.

The Consultant will particularly support:

• finalisation, costing, validation and operationalisation of the National Climate Finance Strategy;
• strengthening and operationalisation of the Climate Finance Unit within CCDA;
• identification and analysis of climate-finance opportunities relevant to the National Blue Carbon Strategy;
• development of the Joint FCCB Investment Framework;
• preparation of climate-responsive and consolidated Public Investment Programme submissions; and
• national capacity development, stakeholder engagement and institutional coordination related to climate finance and investment planning.

Period of assignment/services: 60 working days over a period of Oct 2026 – February 2027
