Description
Dear Bidder, The International Labour Office (ILO) is looking for an individual to undertake work as an External Collaborator. Below is a summary of the work to be performed: Occupational safety and health (OSH) is a strategic priority of the International Labour Organization’s (ILO) Decent Work Country Programme for Albania 2023-2026, including Outcome 1.2 on improved labour-inspection services for OSH and labour-law enforcement. In this context, the International Labour Organization (ILO) and with collaboration of its European Union-funded Employment and Social Affairs Platform (ESAP) 3 project, will conduct a focused regulatory gap analysis and legal-readiness assessment. The work will examine the integration of violence and harassment and associated psychosocial risks under Convention No. 190 into Albania’s OSH framework, as well as Albania’s legal readiness for ratification of Convention No. 161 and the planning of its subsequent implementation. The overall purpose of the assignment is to support the Government of Albania and the social partners through two focused and decision-oriented legal workstreams: 1. A regulatory gap analysis of the integration of violence and harassment and associated psychosocial risks, as addressed in Convention No. 190, into Albania's OSH prevention, risk-management and enforcement framework. 2. An assessment of Albania's legal and practical compatibility with Convention No. 161, informed by Recommendation No. 171, together with a distinction between measures required for legal readiness to ratify and measures that may be progressively implemented after ratification. If you are interested, please express interest and follow the instructions attached to consult the detailed terms of reference and other relevant information in the ILO e-sourcing platform. Please submit your proposal before the specified deadline. Thank you.
