Description
This is a Request for Expression of Interest for a solicitation process that will follow and not the actual solicitation. Exact requirements will be in the solicitaiton document which will be shared with the parties expressing their interest. The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) is seeking to establish a contract for the provision of third party monitoring services for OCHA DRC Humanitarian Fund. The Democratic Republic of Congo Humanitarian Fund (DRC HF) was established as a Country-Based Pooled Fund (CBPF) managed by OCHA to support life-saving humanitarian assistance in DRC. Under the leadership of the Humanitarian Coordinator (HC), the DRC HF enables the timely and flexible allocation of donor resources to priority humanitarian needs identified in the DRC Humanitarian National Response Plan (HNRP). The DRC HF operates as a strategic and complementary funding mechanism, pooling donor contributions to strengthen coordinated response efforts and maximize impact. It supports a wide range of eligible partners, including UN agencies, international and national NGOs, and Red Cross/Red Crescent organizations, ensuring inclusive and localized humanitarian action.
