REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI) - NO: SDN26EOI009 FOR THE PROVISION OF REACH STACKER MAINTENANCE & REPAIR SERVICES TO WFP SUDAN

1. The World Food Programme (WFP) Sudan is issuing an Expression of Interest (EOI) to identify qualified local suppliers for the provision of Reach Stacker maintenance and repair services at Port Sudan Port and Aryaf Bonded Warehouse.
2. WFP invites eligible local suppliers to express their interest for for the provision of Reach Stacker maintenance and repair services at Port Sudan Port and Aryaf Bonded Warehouse area as per the below requirements:

1. Pre-Service Inspection

• Visual walk-around before service: tires, wheels, hydraulic lines, boom, forks, and controls.
• Check fluid levels (engine oil, hydraulic oil, coolant, transmission).
• Verify safety devices: seat belts, overload indicators, emergency stops.
• Document anomalies in a daily log for traceability.

2. Preventive Maintenance

• Telescopic Boom: inspect welds, cracks, wear pads, and load moment indicator.
• Spreader: check telescoping, side shift, rotation, bearings, and twist locks.
• Hydraulics: inspect hoses, seals, cylinders, and replace filters/fluids at intervals.
• Engine & Transmission: oil/filter changes, air filter cleaning, coolant replacement.
• Electrical System: battery terminals, wiring harness, lights, and sensors.

3. Corrective Repairs

• Replace damaged or worn parts (hydraulic hoses, seals, bearings, twist locks).
• Repair or weld cracked boom structures.
• Overhaul spreader misalignment or malfunctioning rotation units.
• Address leaks in hydraulic systems and replace faulty cylinders.
• Rectify electrical faults (sensor calibration, wiring replacement).
