The Consultant is expected to commence the assignment in November 2026. The primary objective is to support the digital operationalization of the Blue Carbon Readiness Framework (BCRF) through the design, development, integration, testing, and handover of a functional digital BCRF Assessment System and WebGIS Dashboard. The Consultant will translate the agreed BCRF methodology, indicators, assessment questions, evidence requirements, and scoring approach into a practical digital system, while integrating spatial and non-spatial information to support visualization of blue carbon site information, assessment results, and readiness levels. The Consultant will be responsible for contributions to the following technical domains:
- BCRF Digital Requirements and System Design
- Digital BCRF Assessment System and Database Development
- WebGIS Dashboard Development and Geospatial Data Integration
- Data Integration and Interoperability with Relevant Government Systems
- Pilot Application, System Testing, User Acceptance Testing, and Refinement
- System Documentation, Training, Knowledge Transfer, and Handover
- Lessons Learned, Technical Recommendations, and System Scalability
Period of assignment/services: 90 working days within 7 months
The assignment is home-based, with travel to Jakarta and other locations within Indonesia as required and subject to prior approval.
The assignment is home-based in Indonesia, with any required travel subject to the assignment requirements and UNDP rules and regulations. The TOR does not specify fixed travel destinations.
The proposal should be submitted directly in the portal no later than the indicated deadline.
Any request for clarification must be sent in writing via the messaging functionality in the portal. UNDP will respond in writing, including an explanation of the query without identifying the source of the inquiry.
