Polio training in Dakar

UNICEF seeks to engage a qualified service provider to design, prepare and facilitate a three-day in-person training workshop in Dakar for 10 Youth Advocates involved in immunization and polio eradication initiatives in West and Central Africa.

The training will bring together five members of Generation Zero Polio and five members of the Global Youth Health Advisory Group. Its objective is to strengthen participants’ capacities in leadership, teamwork, strategy development, mobilization and sustained engagement in support of immunization, polio eradication and the broader child survival agenda.

The service provider will be responsible for developing and delivering a practical, participatory and experiential training programme, combining concepts, hands-on exercises, feedback and reflection to enable participants to apply the learning within their own contexts.
