Description

UNDP Malaysia invites proposals from qualified engineering consultancy firms to serve as a contracted partner for an independent technical assessment of the existing floating docking station and riverbank setting at Kampung Tanah Abang, Mersing, Johor. The assignment includes assessing dock condition and safety, riverbank erosion and flood risks, comparing feasible locations, and recommending essential completion and safety works with indicative costs, endorsed concept drawings, and an implementation and approvals pathway. Community consultation and technical inputs for UNDP’s environmental and social safeguards review are also required. The assignment comprises 25 consultant working days over approximately seven calendar weeks and requires a named lead civil engineer holding a current Professional Engineer with Practicing Certificate (PEPC), supported by relevant expertise. Construction and detailed design for construction are excluded.
