Call for External Collaborator – Senior Researcher (consultant) to draft a paper on the process of establishing the global research framework and priorities on forced labour and human trafficking, and a concept paper on reorganizing the RTA online platform

Dear Bidder, The International Labour Office (ILO) is looking for an individual to undertake work as an External Collaborator. Below is a summary of the work to be performed: The ILO Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work Branch (FUNDAMENTALS) is looking for a Senior Researcher to document the process through which the ILO and Innovations for Poverty Action (IPA) jointly established the Framework for Research and the Global Research and Evidence Priorities on Forced Labour and Human Trafficking Interventions. The consultant will draft (a) a paper describing the process and its methods – the merger of two research agendas, a global stakeholder survey, expert consultations, the seven-pillar structure and validation – for co-publication by the ILO and IPA, with the consultant’s authorship recognized; and (b) a concept paper on reorganizing the From Research to Action platform (rtaproject.org), home of the ILO evidence gap maps, into an online hub that brings the priorities to life and connects them with the evidence. The work will be developed in collaboration with the ILO, IPA and the US Department of State TIP Office, through an intermediary review, a partners’ comments round and final delivery.
