Dear Bidder, The International Labour Office (ILO) is looking for an individual to undertake work as an External Collaborator. Below is a summary of the work to be performed: The assignment involves preparing a paper on simplified regimes for micro and small businesses in developing and emerging economies and analyse how they have evolved to address implementation challenges and improve performance. It will assess their design, governance and delivery, distinguishing between legal provisions, implementation in practice and evidence on results. The study will identify reforms aimed at improving accessibility, preventing misuse, strengthening financial sustainability and promoting formalization, while assessing their contribution to decent work for entrepreneurs and workers and drawing lessons for governments and social partners. The consultant will submit a draft summary to the ILO for review, revise the document based on comments received, and produce a final version for ILO approval.
